Boon Consulting provides plan management services to NDIS participants. We are located in Canberra, but can offer services Australia-wide.
Boon Consulting was founded by Lindsay Hayes, a certified bookkeeper and registered plan manager. Lindsay began Boon Consulting as a bookkeeping and administration consultancy service in 2012, expanding her services to include NDIS plan management in 2019. More recently, the focus of her business has shifted and we now solely provide NDIS services. In 2024, Boon Consulting began offering clinical supervision to NDIS providers utilising the skills and expertise of Tania, with the focus of supporting all members of the disability community, including people with disability, those that care for them, and those that dedicate their careers to supporting them.
The Boon team all have lived experience in supporting participants and their families with psychosocial disabilities, and are always looking to expand their knowledge in all areas of disability. Lindsay and her team are passionate about supporting the disability community by providing exceptional support to their clients. The team all have lived experience navigating the NDIS as participants and carers of participants. This means they understand how overwhelming and confusing the NDIS can be and are able to help their clients navigate the system, learn how to make the system work for them, and build their confidence by meeting individual needs and getting the most benefit out of all their NDIS supports.
What is Plan Management?
Plan management is the financial management of supports and services in an NDIS plan. Plan managers take care of claiming funds from your plan to pay your providers, helping you to keep track of your budget and looking after financial reporting and helping you to understand what supports your NDIS plan can be used for. Plan Management provides you the flexibility to choose registered and non-registered services providers to deliver your services and supports, giving you more time to spend doing the things you want, rather than managing the never-ending paperwork!
